After a relaxing January of rest, JukeBox were back on the road again. This time, we pulled up to the familiar gates of Nutfield Priory; a Unique, Victorian-style Hotel and Spa in Redhill.
Being no strangers to the venue, Surrey's premier wedding band quickly set up a beautiful atmosphere for the fun ahead.
We welcomed the newly-wed Mr and Mrs Bird to the dance floor, and kicked off the night with the Carly Simon classic 'Nobody Does It Better', form the James Bond Classic 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. A fantastic song choice, with apt lyrics and a great feel.
We then proceeded to do our thing, playing pop and rock classics from the last 50 years keeping the guests on the dance floor all night long.
Three sets of floor-fillers later, and the night was drawing to a close. This then lead to my highlight of the evening, when the time had actually run out! The amazing staff at Nutfield allowed us to play one last song, and as prepared, we brought the night to a close with the iconic Proclaimers tune, 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)'. The crowd went wild, and all the Scottish accents came out in full force to bring an amazing end to a beautiful night.
We would like to thank Martin and Kelly for allowing us to be a part of their day, and to all the staff at Nutfield for being as amazing as ever! We wish the happy couple an amazing life together.
